Abstract

With the deepening of globalization and the complex and diverse features of contemporary society, ethical values have attracted more and more attention. Confucian culture, as one of the vital parts of Chinese culture, has played an important role in Chinese society and the East Asian cultural circle. Based on literature review and theoretical analysis, this paper sums up and makes clear the connotation of professional ethics and social responsibility in the Confucian Loyalty and Dedication Spirit and makes a comprehensive and systematic discussion of its positive functions for social integration, professional ethics, and personal values. The article finds that Confucian loyalty and dedication spirit is not only an individual quality, but also a value standard that can promote social integration, improve professional ethics and personal values, and thus promote social development and stability. In view of the role of Confucian ethics in contemporary social development, this paper puts forward practical suggestions for the practice of Confucian loyalty and dedication spirit in contemporary society, which can provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for social ethics construction.
