To enhance the capability of delaying launches at the launch site and improve the utilization rate of narrow launch windows for deep space exploration missions, this paper presents a comprehensive study on delayed launch strategies for cryogenic liquid rockets. By analyzing the characteristics of deep space mission windows and identifying key risk factors and operational challenges associated with delayed launches, this paper has developed a time-phase-based decision framework that integrates test systems and fault types. This framework has been tailored to the specific features of a large-scale cryogenic rocket in China, enabling the formulation of targeted emergency response strategies for different mission phases and target windows. The proposed approach has been validated through actual operational missions and demonstrated its effectiveness in improving mission planning flexibility and reliability.
